Almita manufactures piles that can be used in a variety of industrial and commercial projects, including industrial work camps, school portables and slope stabilization projects. Screw piles are easily integrated with traditional concrete grade beams or floor slabs.
One method used for restoring failing foundations is underpinning. Underpinning makes use hydraulic jacks that support the structure until the foundation is lifted and the screw piles are installed. While Almita does not currently offer an underpinning service, we do design and provide custom screw piles for underpinning projects. Almita has a wide range of equipment for underpinning piles including, mini-hoes, skid steer loaders and hand-held drives.
Common industrial and commercial applications include:

Almita's Solution |
| Strict Reclamation Requirements |
Completely Removable Although they are typically used as permanent foundations, screw piles are easily screwed back out of the ground at the end of a project, leaving little or no trace. |
| Tight or Restricted Access | Fit-for-Purpose Equipment Unlike cement trucks or standard pile drivers, Almita’s small, light installation hoes are capable of maneuvering in tight quarters. |
| Minimizing Disruption | Low Noise/Vibration Installation Screw pile installations create minimal noise pollution and reduce the likelihood of disrupting sensitive equipment or nearby foundations. Rapid Installation Installation crews are fast and efficient. View an installation. |
