Jeff Lloyd was appointed President in 2012. Primarily responsible for client relations and strategic planning, his work includes industry forecasting and developing long-term business plans. Jeff has a law degree from Osgoode Hall Law School and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Denver.
Prior to joining Almita, Jeff had a 17-year career with a rapidly-growing public company, serving as a member of the leadership team with various responsibilities including business acquisitions, legal services, real estate and procurement. Jeff was also a member of the strategic planning team.
Jeff has been active in several volunteer positions, including director of the Pigeon Lake Watershed Association, and as a past member of both the Epcor Community Essentials Council and the Synergy Network of Edmonton. He has also held the position of Chair for the Canadian Corporate Counsel Association Northern Alberta Chapter, and is a past member of the Board of Directors for the Kids with Cancer Society of Northern Alberta.
Spending time with family is a priority for Jeff, and he particularly enjoys outdoor activities including biking, sailing, and skiing.
Senior Vice President
Having joined Almita in November 2011, Bill is responsible for providing leadership in the areas of manufacturing and quality. He liaises with the Sales and Marketing Team as well as the Installation Department to ensure that project requirements and timelines are met for every customer.
With Canadian, US, and international experience in manufacturing, operations, and business management, Bill’s expertise includes streamlining management, production and business processes, lean manufacturing, planning and start-up of facilities, and managing organizational growth and change initiatives.
Bill holds an MBA from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a BSC in Mechanical Engineering from Queen’s University. An avid cyclist who also enjoys photography, travel and coaching soccer, Bill has been a leader in organizing fundraising cycling events for the Sick Kids Hospital and the MS Society of Canada.
Chief Financial Officer
Joining the Almita’s leadership team in January 2015, Sundeep has the responsibility for providing financial leadership and guidance to the organization. He has direct oversight of the Finance, IT and HR teams.
With a history of helping organizations grow, his diverse work experience in manufacturing and construction includes leading the finance function of a publically traded, multinational organization based out of Houston, Texas. Sundeep’s 25 years of progressive financial experience in Canada, US and UK includes acquisitions, greenfield start-ups, divestures, equity/bond financing and crisis management.
Sundeep holds an MBA from Queen’s University, along with a CMA (Alberta) and BA in Accounting Studies (UK). An avid golfer, Sundeep enjoys coaching soccer and watching his kids play hockey and basketball. He volunteers his time supporting the Stollery Children’s Hospital Foundation and Boyle Street Community Services.
Sales and Business Development Manager
Mohamed joined Almita in 2013 with the responsibilities of managing Almita’s Strategy and Corporate Development program. Mohamed’s responsibilities included providing a wide scope of analytical support for long-range strategic and annual operational planning, new business development, metrics development and reporting, and ongoing process improvement.
Currently, Mohamed leads a team of sales professionals. He liaises with the Engineering and Project Management teams in order to deliver solutions that create value to Almita’s clients and help them overcome challenging foundation projects.
As a member of the Research & Development (R&D) Committee, Mohamed’s responsibilities include analyzing the success potential for R&D projects, and commercialization. Mohamed works closely with the R&D team to manage the execution of key R&D projects that provide value to clients, and further Almita’s corporate strategy.
Mohamed holds an MBA from the University of Alberta, and a Bachelor of Computing Science from the University of Guelph. Mohamed also holds a Project Management Professional designation, and is a member of PMI-Northern Alberta Chapter. Mohamed enjoys traveling, and spending time with his family.
